The Midwest Dance Retreat is a community of dance leaders, dancers, and musicians who co-create this beautiful event together. Dances are led by mentored leaders who lead in dance circles all over the Midwest. It is a rich opportunity to share our gifts, skills, attunement, and wisdom; To learn and grow together. Join our beloved community as we find strength in unity.

We return to the Fort Wayne Dance Collective (FWDC) studios this year in Fort Wayne, IN. The option of basic housing is available within seven minutes at nearby University of St. Francis (USF). All meals will be provided at FWDC.
Registration and Accommodations
Registration deadline for housing and free T-shirt: May 28, 2025
Registration deadline without housing or T-shirt: June 15, 2025
The registration fee is on a sliding scale of $180 - $225, and we ask that you pay what you can. If you do not plan to stay at USF, please deduct $32 from your total. Scholarships will be considered after submitting a request form.

Accommodations are at the University of St. Francis (USF), 2701 Spring Street, Fort Wayne, IN. In order for our group to be together on one floor at USF we will be required to house two people per room as much as possible. In filling out the housing information please note a preferred roommate if possible. Once we are at capacity on one floor, overflow participants will be housed in another dorm away from our group. Early registration is encouraged so you can be on the same floor as the group! Priority will be given to those participants who are willing to be with a roommate.

Pre-Retreat
Thursday June 19th
After 2:00pm: Dance leaders and participating musicians will arrive. This group will meet Thursday evening and Friday to share/plan for the weekend.​
Retreat Schedule
Friday, June 20th
5:30pm-7:00pm: Welcome Reception & Registration at FWDC. You can eat dinner ahead, bring your own meal, and/or share in provided light snacks. Participants staying at the University of St. Francis will receive room/building keys.
7:00pm-9:30pm: Evening Dance
Saturday, June 21st
Three meals provided at FWDC, three dance sessions, and free time.

Sunday, June 22nd
Breakfast provided and one dance session.
12:00pm-1:00pm: Community Restoration of Studio.
